About
Hi, I’m Tori. I'm on a mission to help you reclaim your sleep and wake up feeling truly rested.
As a UKIHCA Registered Health Coach and trained CBT-I Practitioner, I specialise in helping people overcome sleep difficulties using evidence-based techniques. I understand firsthand how frustrating poor sleep can be. I was never a ‘great’ sleeper, but following a family bereavement I started to experience chronic insomnia myself, and that personal journey is what led me to specialise in sleep coaching.
My Training & Credentials
I hold a Diploma in Health Coaching from the College of Naturopathic Medicine, a Diploma in Nutritional Therapy, and completed specialist training as a CBT-I Practitioner with Professor Jason Ellis from the Northumbria Centre for Sleep Research. I receive clinical supervision for my work and I'm a member of The Sleep Charity UK.
With a strong foundation in science - having earned a BSc in Biology and an MSc in Environmental Science - I bring both evidence-based knowledge and practical experience to my sleep coaching practice. I also currently work as a Wellbeing Practitioner with Public Health on the Isle of Man, as I believe everyone should have access to support better health.
Why I Focus on Sleep
Before training as a health coach, I spent over 15 years in marketing and communications, developing coaching and leadership skills as a senior manager. But it was my own struggle with health issues and then insomnia that truly changed my path.
I know what it's like to lie awake in the night, watching the clock, dreading bedtime, to try every supplement and sleep ‘hack’ only to feel more frustrated. When I finally discovered CBT-I delivered personally to me everything changed. It worked when nothing else had.
That experience ignited a genuine desire to combine my knowledge of health and sleep to help others who are struggling. I trained as a CBT-I practitioner because I wanted to offer people what actually works, not quick fixes or empty promises, but proven techniques that create lasting change.
My Approach
My approach to sleep coaching is grounded in simplicity, science, and sustainability. I believe in addressing sleep within the context of your whole life - your habits, your environment, your thoughts, and your unique challenges.
I create a space where you'll be heard, where we can cut through the overwhelm of conflicting sleep advice, and where we focus on what actually works. By combining CBT-I techniques with my health coaching skills, I help you develop practical strategies that fit your life and create real, lasting improvement.
Unlike medication or quick fixes, CBT-I addresses the root causes of sleep problems. It helps you develop the skills to sleep well naturally - skills that stay with you long after our work together ends.
Let’s work together
Whether you've struggled with sleep for years or you're experiencing new difficulties, I'm here to help. Let's work together to transform your relationship with sleep and help you wake up feeling refreshed, energised, and ready for your day.
